We want your rafting experience to be fun and memorable, but most important to us is your safety. Both the Telaga Waja and Ayung rivers are safe for all levels. The Telaga Waja is a bit more challenging while the Ayung is perfect for families. In either case, neither river is considered risky and both have excellent safety records as do our experienced guides. Nonetheless, they are trained in safety and basic first aid.
We use both Incepts and AVON rafts that are certified and each rafter is required to use an authorized helmet and life jacket. Equipment is inspected regularly and replaced when there is any question regarding function or reliability.
Though children and people with disabilities are welcome to participate in this activity, please contact us if you are concerned about age or safety. We will gladly provide our expert advice and recommendation.
If you have any questions regarding safety procedures or want to discuss precautions for your white water rafting experience, please contact us at +62 812 3777 8789 or balitouractivity@gmail.com.

Am I supposed to tip my guide?
Bali really doesn’t have much of a tipping culture and tipping your river guide is not expected; however, if you loved your experience and want to give your guide a little extra, it is completely up to you.
We loved our guide and experience. Where can we write a review?
We love testimonials. We greatly appreciate your comments on both Google and Trip Advisor.
Which river do you recommend?
It depends on a number of factors. Generally, the Ayung river is slower and better for families with young children. The Telaga Waja is fun and exciting. Before your activity, your guide will discuss your options and help you decide which river is likely to be best for you.
How difficult are the rapids, really?
Not very difficult and quite tame compared to say, North American standards, but still quite fun. It also depends on the time of year as the rainy season (November to March) produces deeper, faster running water and stronger currents. The rapids are considered Class 2 (easy) to Class 4 (Rainy season).
Is transportation included?
Yes. We will pick you and drop you off at your hotel.
Will my camera or phone get wet?
Probably. We recommend that you do not bring a phone or camera on the river unless they are waterproof. You will also want to make sure it is secured since sometimes they can fall in the river.
Are there any dangerous animals in the river?
No. There are no crocodiles or angry fish. Bali does have several varieties of poisonous snakes, but they are very rare.
Will it be crowded?
Not likely, though the river can be crowded at the starting point and destination; however, a limited number of boats are on the river at any one time in order to keep the crowds to a minimum.
